![]() ![]() I don’t get WHY files from a same program (Powerpoint) can’t be played in different operating systems… I am sure there is a technical reason, but then WHY the microsoft programmers don’t do versions that are 100% compatible…. So that when I go to see a client, I don’t need to spend an hour figuring out what PP version they have etc… I know that depending on the version of Powerpoint on the PC, different formats are supported, but I would like to know what format do I need to create my movies on the Mac so they play without problems in any PC Powerpoint presentation. I use Final Cut Pro and Quicktime 7 Pro for video editing on the Mac, and I have tried to save the movies in different formats without any success when opening them on a Powerpoint for PC, the only compression format that worked is Cinepak, but then it looses a lot of resolution, making the clip look poor. ![]() So, I am having LOTS of problems when I insert a movie in my Powerpoint 2004 (Mac) and then try to open the same Powerpoint file on a PC. ![]() I use Mac because that is what we have here, and also because it is nicer for video editing. I use Powerpoint 2004 on a Mac for pro presentations. Thanks in advance to anybody that answers my question. Archived Content Powerpoint with video from Mac to PC
